Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats and sometimes boosts its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is frequently upgraded to enhance its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item upgrader mod such as a weapon, armor or ring. The item is replaced by another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't maintain the original level of the item, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.
The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item, for example increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage that melee and weapons and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next success is rerolled. This helps you save upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.
During an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. These stones can also be obtained by players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The screen will show a summary of the item's levels and what it will be when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.
Once they have decided on the upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has satisfied the requirements, he can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to get an advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many ways to acquire them. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or find them in reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It's done by adding upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is attained.
Items with upgraded base stats will display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be applied to more than one item at once. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be applied, as well as an initial level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add items to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item upgrading is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available to it. When an item attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades to that track will come with discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets in order to provide an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is being used. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through quests or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Upgrades to items give players the ability to boost certain attributes of armor and weapons that they currently have equipped. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the item type however, generally you'll require Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. These will provide more effects or an improved item level. The upgrades can be acquired from various sources in the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is placed into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that could further increase the stats of an item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for instance, increases defense base and provides an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they boost stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. The game will display the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory once you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader; This Resource site, NPC.
